Jinjiang River stretches for a total of 109 kilometers, with 34 kilometers passing through the Danxiashan UNESCO Global Geopark. Currently, 8 kilometers of both the middle and lower reaches are open to tourists. Along the riverbanks, Jingshiyan red cliff
and danxia landscape are complemented by green bamboo groves and picturesque farmlands. Tourists can take a boat ride to enjoy dozens of scenic spots along the way. These include not only the famous red cliffs and Yangyuanshi rock but also many ancient villages within our geopark, such as Xiafu Ancient Village and Niubi Ancient Village.
