These honeycomb-like caves are located in the Zhanglaofeng Peak scenic area. They are a group of caves formed by differential weathering. These caves are formed in sandstone layers, but there are some weaker rock bodies within the sandstone that are less resistant to weathering. Under the influence of weathering, these weaker rock bodies quickly erode away, forming grooves. These grooves gradually enlarge due to continuous weathering, eventually forming large caves. For example, the wind can carry tiny sand particles that swirl around inside the caves, acting like a chisel and gradually enlarging the caves. The largest main cave is 9 meters long, 3 meters high, and about 2.8 meters deep. There are also several smaller caves near the main cave.
