龙蟠虎卧，清郑绍曾题。刻于去锦石岩寺公路左侧崖壁。郑绍曾，清代嘉庆年间进士。生卒年不详。大致生活在清乾隆嘉庆年间，清宁州(今广西宁明县)人。曾任广东龙门、从化、仁化等县知县。著有《海棠斋诗稿》4卷，已佚。《宁明耆旧诗辑》存其诗40余首，多写宦游生活，亦不乏勤政爱民之情。

　　"Long Pan Hu Wo (Coiled Dragon and Crouching Tiger)” was inscribed by Zheng Shaozeng on the cliff to the left of the road leading to Jinshiyan Temple. Zheng Shaozeng was a Jinshi (advanced scholar) during the Jiaqing era of the Qing dynasty. His birth and death years are unknown, but he lived around the Qianlong and Jiaqing eras of the Qing dynasty and was from Ningzhou (now Ningming County, Guangxi). He served as the county magistrate of Longmen, Conghua, and Renhua in Guangdong. He authored the "Poetry Manuscripts of Haitang Studio" in four volumes, which has been lost. "Collected Poems of Ningming Elders" includes more than forty of his poems, most of which describe his official life and express his diligence and love for the people.
