1. Geological route 1: (About 2.5 hr)
Mid-moutian Gate——E Yu Shang Shan——Entrance of Zhanglao Peak Ticket Station——Mid-mountain Pavillion——Mengjue Pass——Bai Zhang Canyon——Jin Shi Yan Temple

This route is the most typical and popular one among all. Geological relics mainly are:large-scale beehive-shaped caves in Meng Jue Pass, eroded-fallen-piles compound caves and lane valley, large-scale triangle tabular cross-stratification, lane valley of Bai Zhang Canyon, the ancient sand wave imprint, high rock of Penyu Spring, caves at Jinshi Rock, small size beehive-shaped burrows (dragon scale stone), Jin Shi Rock red walls and cliffs, Jin Yan Ma Wei Waterfall. Jin Shi Rock Temple is a grotto temple with a history of more than 1000 years, and there are more than 50 poems and 70 stone inscriptions left by the ancients. And Zhang Lao Peak Tourist Area, where Jinshi Rock Temple located, is the tourist area has a long development history and most rich in cultural history.
2. Geological route 2: (About 2 hr)
Sun-viewing Pavilion——Xue Rock——Hong Qiao Yong Cui (Rainbow Bridge Embracing Green)——Scale Cave——Shao Yin Platform——Bao Zhu Peak——Rudder Rock

This route is best place for viewing eastern peak-groups of Danxiashan, the most concentrated area of caves between Member 2 and 3 (Jinshiyan Member, the upper Baizhaiding Member) border zone, and secondary forests on the mountain tops. Along the route we can experience the grand and magnificent Eastern Peak-groups, tour large-scale horizontal grottos around Hailuo Peak, Rudder Stone, Hong Qiao natural arch bridge, fissure spring of the Dragon King Spring, cave temples and subtropical montane evergreen coppice. And Zhanglao Peak of this route is best for sun-rising viewing in Danxiashan, especially with the reflection of peak-groups, its glorious is the same outstanding with Mout Taishan, and its beauty and wonder are no less than Mout Huangshan.
3. Geological route 3:(About 2 hr)
Yangyuan Rock——Breast Stone——Drying-cloth Rock——Jiu Jiu Tian Ti (Ninety-nine Stairs to Heaven)——Ximei Fortress

This route is characterized by well developed stone walls and stone pillars, and geological relics and ecological environment are in good condition. Yangyuan Rock Tourist Area, one of the areas with the longest history of development, boasts for the stone plank resembling elephants and unique stone pillar. It is said that it is the very place where Nu Wa mended the sky. There are at present old grottos and a dozen of ancient fortress around this area.
4. Geological route 4:(About 2.5 hr)
Xianglong Lake——Yinyuan Rock——Wo Long Gang(Crouching Dragon Hill)

This route is rich in landscapes resources, plant and animal species, and the vegetations are well protected. Along this route we could sightseeing around wonderful landscapes such as Shun Di Rock, Da Shi Rock, Jin Cheng Fortress, Sky Pillar, Yellow Sand Hollow, Wang Lang Gui, Monk Hat Peak, Bao Ta Peak and Ping Feng Fortress.
5. Geological route 5:(About 1.5 hr)
Line 1: Yangyuan Rock Quay——Danxia Power Station (tour about 1 hr); Line 2: Sister Peak——Goddess of Mercy Rock (tour about 1.5 hr)
Along this boat tour route, it will show us Lion Rock, the Sleeping Beauty, Qun Xiang Chu Shan (Elephants Walking Through Mountain), Gold Turtle Hill, Liu Zhi Qing Mo (Devil being captured by Six Fingers), Sister Peak, Ba Fortress, Guan Yin Shi (Goddess of Mercy Rock), Jin River Cliff Painting, Tian Luo Hill and rural village scenery.
6. Geological route 6: (About 1 hr)
Tong Tai Bridge——Lion Rock
Along this route, we can visit Tong Tai Bridge, a natural arch bridge, with a span of 38 m, a length about 50 m and 13 in height. It is a legend goes that a Taoist immortal named Daoyuan used to practise in Lion Rock & Hunyuan Cave area, and after that he left a lot of historical relics.
